Chelsea + Clay

I'm totally a believer in love finding a way. I have said to friends (which caused eyerolls, I'm sure), "If it's meant to be, it's meant to be." In a crazy world full of crazy people, sometimes it's easy to lose faith that you'll ever find that person. The one you can't imagine living without. The one who makes your heart sing. And then you hear stories like this, and all that faith is restored.

A couple weeks ago I met Chelsea and Clay, and had the opportunity to hear their story. They met a few years ago at a wedding for two of their friends. While they hit it off, they soon realized that their lives were spent literally across the country. She lived in Boston, he lived in Boise. After the wedding, they kept in touch knowing that their chances of ever being able to go on a date would be slim.

Until...

His family decided to go on vacation. And her family also decided to go on vacation. At the same time. In the SAME CITY. Can you even imagine?! If that's not a sign that you're meant to be together, I don't know what is.

They had their first date while vacationing with their families and the rest, they say, is history.
