Alaina + Neal

I'm pretty sure any artist would tell you that they will never forget the friends and family who supported them when they first started out. For me, Alaina and Neal are two of those folks. I was blessed enough to work with both of them during my time in public accounting, and was so honored (and a little nervous, truthfully) when they asked to have a session with me soon after leaving the firm to start my photography business. These two are gracious, kind, and so fun to be around.

What a joy it was to reconnect last weekend and have a quick mini session with them! So much of our lives have changed but it was refreshing to sit down and chat with them afterward, like no time had passed. I'm so thankful for the time we spent together.

Here are a few snaps from our little walk around Pioneer Square:

Side note: I LOVE sessions with married couples. They are my favorite type of sessions, because the nervousness of being engaged or newly married is gone, and you literally just get to hang out with your best friend for a little bit and do crazy things like dance in the middle of the road. There is something super special about taking the time to document life in between all the big moments (weddings, babies, etc.)!

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!
